Before opening her private practice in San Jose, Ami held managerial positions at CPA firms across the Silicon Valley. for She is married and mother of two daughters. In her spare time, Ami loves to volunteer at JCNC, NGN and travel with her family.

Bijal Vakharia

Bijal joined Ami Shah CPA team as a staff accountant in September 2015. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and enjoys using her skills to help the firm's many clients including internal accounting.

She is experienced accountant with pleasant personality and rare go get it attitude. She is well versed in general ledger accounting, tax preparation, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, Microsoft 365, Customer Relationship Management (CRM). She is an excellent team builder. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and law from University of Gujarat.

She spends her spare time travelling, volunteering at her son’s school and spending time with family and friends.

Manali Nagda

Manali joined the firm in May 2017. With over 9 years of work experience in the field of finance, accounting and taxation she works on tax planning and return preparation for businesses and individuals and financial statements.

Manali has passed all four sections of CPA exam and is working towards becoming a licensed CPA in California. She is a Chartered Accountant from India and holds a bachelor’s from University of Mumbai. She likes to spend her spare time with family and watching movies.

Mitali Gosrani

Mitali joined Ami Shah CPA team in July 2017. She works on choice of entity, formation, elections and tax return preparation for individuals and entities and various state fillings.

Before moving to USA, she was pursuing her Chartered Accountancy degree in India and has over 3 years of experience in public accounting. She continues to further her knowledge by preparing for the CPA exams. She loves spending her spare time doing henna and travelling.

Nipa Shah

Nipa joined Ami Shah CPA team in August 2013. She is perfectionist who believes in attention to detail and likes to do challenging work every day. She works on QuickBooks accounting, tax returns for businesses and individuals and sales tax returns. She acts as outside CFO to many small business clients and also helps with the firm’s internal accounting.

She is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. She holds Master’s degree in Accounting and taxation from University of Gujarat, India.

She loves to spend her spare time with family and watching movies.

Poonam Shah

Poonam joined the team in January 2016. With extensive experience in public accounting she works on tax planning and preparation for entities and high net worth clients. She is also well versed with Indian tax laws and compliance requirements and foreign disclosures.

She is Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, Chartered Accountant from India and currently pursuing her CPA. She also holds Master`s in Accounting and Taxation from University of Pune, India. Poonam looks forward to gaining the experience necessary to provide a wide range of services to our clients.

In her spare time, Poonam enjoys cooking, painting, spending time with her family and friends.
